I have one image in my mind, my driving force, the image I feel everyone should have from their wedding photography...
My Late Nan’s wedding photo sat on a Welsh dresser in the dining room...surrounded by many framed images of family and friends...but this small black and white print was not framed...it was placed, leaning against the other framed images.
I remember the very 1st time I saw the loose print as a child, it was like finding a long forgotten piece of treasure...this small black and white print.

The photograph was taken on my Nan’s wedding day...it was the 60’s and my Nan wore a fitted skirt and jacket suit showing off her 18” waist {one genetic gene that seemed to have passed me by} and her jet black hair was beehived to perfection..My Nan was beautiful. The image was taken just as everyone was leaving the church, My beautiful Nan stopped and glanced at the camera...and as she gave a little smile my granddad, who was a few steps ahead, turned to his new wife and placed his hand under her chin....he adored her...she was madly happy...that one moment may have been swallowed up with time, children, grandchildren, sad times and happy times...life well just happens and some things that you do not mean to forget...those times when you try to imprint the one moment into your mind, the feelings, and the smells… sometimes get forgotten.
That one single loose print, the memory and feelings that are attached to that memory are my reason for being...loving....cannot live without...the reason why I am a wedding photographer. This is not just a job that I love...this is a dream that I want to share with you....♥
